Mostly yes, it gives you more FOC and it's only 25gr. from what you shoot now.

Hi….while that is true, you also have a brass insert up front that can vary in weight up to 200 is the heaviest I think I have heard of. I currently run 110 up front on the insert for my heavy bows with 125 grains for 235 total. I think a zombie could handle another 25 without a problem. The steering will be the issue….there needs to be a balance….this is not a bullet rather an arrow.

I've had zero issues. Ive only hunted with them out to 40. Practice out to 65. I can tell you they hit the target hard out there.

 

What about their other heads such as the Titanium 125gr? I will be shooting from Wicked Ridge Fury 410 reverse limb. About 400fps

 

I used the 2.0 100 gr as well in a couple of my bows. Complete pass thru ... lots of blood loss... Quick kills.

 

Has anyone used the 1.7 sevr

 

I shoot a 170 gr NAP FOC with a 94 gr insert flys super. I also use a 150 gr shwacker for turkeys same arrow. I shot and hunted the Sevr 100gr one year. They shoot great and noticed no differance in flight. Other than the heavier arrows shot lower.

The great thing about the Sevr you can buy one head and try it.

 

I shoot BE Executioners with the 1.5 titanium SEVR heads with 110 brass insert. Total weight around 444gr. with about 22% FOC. Shoot like darts out to 70 yds. (Furthest I shot in practice mode).

 

I shoot the same with a Bohning shield cut X vane….3 inch version. What fletching are you using?

I am using AAA max vanes. Very quiet and I like the lower profile. Also the 3" version.
