Man O' Man. This thread has exceeded its shelf life. Tenpoint has always done right by its customers, sure we ve got reasons to get upset, we spend good, hard earned money on our bows. And many other things in life, as always,. Anything Man made, is apt to fail for reasons known and unknown. Life can be a real pissah from time to time. I ve said it before, and I ll say it again.. Siege RS 410, " Best Bow I ve Ever Shot... Period ". Hope all gets resolved for folks when stuff goes bad, cause in the real world, Stuff really does happen.

Price/cost has no bearing on defects. You can buy a $250,000 Ferrari and it won't be trouble free. In fact, it will be more problematic than a $30,000 car. LOL

My brother in law bought a used Maserati and the engine blew the 2nd day he owned it. ya never know

pretty sure he paid more than $1800 for it

I received my r410.
Scope rail is soild it runs perfectly true
Mounted a hawke xb30 pro

Crank, it is very quiet imo. Its more silent then when i manually pull some other bows back and the hooks rub down the rail. I would say if your in a tree deer is gonna catch movement more then hear it being cranked. I'm positive in my permanent wood blinds that I can have a deer in shooting range and could crank the bow without spooking it.
Uncocking is a great feature and very easy to do
Very impressed with it all around.

I really like the feel of the stock, the crank handle snaps in very tight and I'm not worried about it ever coming off.

Trigger is very good, need more time with it be like it.

Strings and cables where pretty nice. Center was double served.

Only thing that I thought was not great was the machine marks on the frame.

I was surprised to watch this thread on the first page all week. I posted on the 10 point rep thread (customer requests) and got an answer to the question about this issue in about an hour. My wife bought one so I wanted to know what was up. Got the answer and everything sounds fine.
If you have an issue, we will fix it was the answer. Only some went out this way I was told.
Pretty open and shut case.

Got to say, while I am not a fan of 10 point, I cant pee on their reps.. Wife has had issues (too many) but they always took care of her and she is still a fan. I dont get that much respect from her!

At least you didnt buy the amazing exploding excal micro! LOL

So your saying the OP should have bought a cheaper bow than the Seige? because it cheaper and less problems. OP just has some of my luck.
No. I said what I said. Price has nothing to do with problems
The difference is when the product is working PROPERLY. .

Ya, Randy is good people, very helpful, glad you cooled down a bit.
Excaliburs have issues, too.
Ask me about a brand new $2,000.00+ TwinStrike that has had center serving replaced 2 times in 50 shots and Charger EXT hooks wearing down!
No wait, don't ask me.
I was just getting over it LOL.
To all, it's been fun. If your having accuracy problems make sure you check to make sure your scope rails are solidly attached and are not moving on crossbows with acuslides.
I'm out.

Don't get me wrong, yes I apologized to Randy not Tenpoint. I stand by my statement in our case both bows were defective. The sight rail is a major component and if it's not reliable the weapon is ABSOLUTELY USELESS. So to us it was a major defect. Thing was it wasn't flopping around, it took good thumb pressure to move it. It was unnoticeable unless you checked it. The very thing that can destroy a hunt of a lifetime and not acceptable on a TOP OF THE LINE BOW in our opinion and our opinion is the only opinion that's counts when it comes to our weapons.
Nice chatin with ya goodnight.
I believe Ten Point should have caught the Seige scope rail issue . I sent it back to Borkholder who then sent back to Ten Point . Both were very helpful but it was almost a month to get straight. I just believe a good quality control process could catch this . I realized a problem right away .

For the price tag on the bow every bow should be inspected for critical dimensions, fit and finish, etc. Obviously some are not inspected at all. Quite a few, from the way it sounds. Multiple complaints on this forum, imagine all of the people that aren't on the forum.

Every manufacturer has some problems with the high demand of crossbows and archery equipment the past year I’m sure it’s hard to catch everything. The important thing is that they stand behind their product and you get it back in a timely manner.

Most of them do turn it around quickly, as long as the pro shop/service center don't sit on them too long. Not that I'm going to mention Scheels or Mouldy's archery as those centers. Lol. They do however, have problems standing upright. Not that I'm going to mention Ten Point or anything. Lol

Both Mouldy's and the Scheel's in Eau Claire are very good shops. Mouldy's has been around for 30 years and has great reviews. Most of the country is not familiar with Scheel's, but they are probably the best/chain stores out there. The Scheel's employees are very well trained.

Scheels is not so bad. It depends who you're working with. A lot of employees and a lot of turnover. They did sit on my bow for a week, then I took it back. Mouldy's is another story. Very expensive and the owners are arrogant. I will never go there again.

My son and I both bought new Tenpoint Seige crossbows both crossbows came in with the scope rails loose this to us is a major issue it seems that some crossbows that employ the accuslide have scope rails that may be loose. If you're having accuracy issues check to make sure that the scope rail will not move left or right and pivot on the mounting point. 10 point it's aware of the issue and have a fix for it. I realize that the header was a bit dramatic but wanted to make sure people knew about the issue in the event they were having accuracy issues or about to go on a hunt of a lifetime! Contact 10 point if you have this issue and I'm sure they'll take care of you.
We have decided to return the bows.
My siege had the same loose scope rail problem. I called ten point and they immediately said they would fix it or give me a new one. I took it to my dealer, who is a repair center and he fixed it in 10 minutes. Three of the four screws that hold the rail were loose and he tighten them. I have shot about 30 bolts after the fix and it is working great.

Okay, so it's not a perfect world. However this is not the first time it has happened, by a large margin. It's an $1800.00 item. Ten Point can't afford to pay one person to do final inspection? I've done a lot of final inspection on products much less expensive. It would only take one person 5 minutes or less to ensure that doesn't happen. When it happens repeatedly and it does, obviously, doesn't it make you wonder where else are they taking shortcuts? How do you trust that product? Look on ebay, many of the used crossbows for sale are Ten point or Wicked Ridge and most are fairly new. Ever wonder about that?

Wow Suchs, does someone piss on your Corn Flakes every day ?
Open up your profile please rather than hide yourself from everyone so we can put you on Ignore, your always targeted, derogatory comments about TenPoint are getting really, really, old.
