Anyone have one of these and can give some insight good or bad? Sold my venom x to my sister, brand new, and purchased a Turbo X through Wyvervn. Gonna mount a new Oracle X on it. Likely to order some custom bolts through AJ custom arrows.

I sold my Venom X, which I really liked and picked up a Turbo X last week. Looks almost identical. It's 3/4" longer and noticeably faster. Shot a 417 grain arrow at 415 FPS and bow is 3/4" out of spec. Once string stretches fully, I will likely add some twists and pick up a little more speed, albeit irrelevant. Upgraded scope, which I listed for sale as I prefer my Huskemaw scopes.

I am looking at either the VX or TX . Beefier limbs on the TX should absorb the increased power I guess. But if the VX can get 370 with my centerpunch, and I move one of my rangemaster pro scopes onto it, I can dial it in for pinpoint accuracy out to 50 yards. I need to settle on which one before this “want” becomes a “need”. Most of my crossbow shots are less than 30 yards so my center crosshair will be for 20 yards. The fixed power scope that comes on the VX, using my centerpunch and BEE s, would probably require me remembering where it actually hits at 30, 40, and 50. So I’m assuming the VX equipped scope wouldn’t work for me.

I will only buy new so I get the warranty.

I had both...ended up selling my Venom X. The Venom X is a wonderful bow. If I wasn't so impulsive I would probably still have the Venom X. It's very accurate and smooth operating. However, I can say the same about the Turbo X, it reminds me of the Venom X just a little faster, a little longer, but doesn't fit as well. The Venom X, in my opinion, is the best bow that I've ever owned. You can't go wrong with its reliability. I would recommend that you get an aftermarket scope if you do get a Venom X.

The questions to ask yourself are.....How much speed do you really need? and How much increased stresses on the crossbow are you willing to accept to get that speed? I am perfectly happy with the Venom X performance, and by using a range finding scope like the Oracle X, I don't need high speeds to minimize arrow drop guesstimates past 20 yards while using a standard scope. My arrows weigh 460 grains, at 365 fps. The Turbo X costs $300 more, is only 25 fps faster according to TenPoint, and creates a greater degree of stress. It is not worth it to me.

I go back and forth. I’ve heard the RM 100 is better for light amplification compared to the RMPro. But honestly, those fine crosshairs, half I don’t need, might drive me nuts. Thanks for the insight

I can tell you for sure that my Turbo X sits up higher in my case than than my Venom X did and it's in the grip area. The deciding factor between buying a Venom X or a Turbo S1 when I was first looking was that the trigger was able to be reached more easily by my wife and son. We had both of them side by side in the bow shop. We were shooting both of them and the trigger was further away on the Turbo S1...same with the Turbo X.
