I have a Horton SL Legend with the black/grayish camo, Horton ss047 scope, quiver and 6 arrows soft case. I have only shot it around 24 or so times. It is like new. The paper work has a parts catolog with 1999 on it so I guess, I purchased it in either 1999 or 2000. Looking to sell anyone have a idea how much it would be worth?

Looking to get a newer model CB. Getting back into archery my 10 yr old is just starting with bows. Been doing research on here great site by the way! Got it narrowed down to either a PSE Fang, Barnett Raptor or Recruit. Looking to keep it under $400. Altough I almost bought a Barnett Brotherhood today it had the cocking crank and was $449 at Dunham sports. I was thinking it was missed price since the crank was on it but the sales guy said that was the price.

Thanks for any help.

$300 to $350 .
Great crossbow very dependable.
Used mine for 12 years. Until the limbs started to crack. Dryfire ####ouch#####
Only discovered the hairline cracks after replacing the cams cables and string.
To replace limbs was going cost me just under $300 which also required me to ship it to Horton. Which the turn around quoted was 3 to 4 months. They would not send just the limbs and have the local bow shop replace them. Which would have cost under $125.00 all total. Just one of the policies I suspect that also lead to their demise.
So I bought a new replacement a Horton RDT instead which I suspect was also the model that lead to the final nail in their coffin leaving a lot of people FURYous. Lucky for me however I recognized what a piece of junk it was before the sh#t hit the fan and was lucky was able to exchange it for a more dependable user friendly crossbow before the flood of disgruntled owners put them out of business for good.

If you were close even I would consider .
