I don't trust cookie cutter bows from China in the high end category. Maybe they are caught up enough to reliably produce bows up to 380 fps but not into the 400' s. Use at your own risk.

I don,t trust over priced xbows without a true adf. Wrath 430 X has my interest. I read all the brand forums. Plenty of malfunctions to go around from every brand. Limbs breaking, ccd meltdowns, excessive string /rail pressure, crappy triggers, string and cables falling apart, dryfires resulting in bent parts, asinine proprietary arrows and nocks.....list just goes on. Not one brand got clean hands.

Past practice they would replace the front end, being they don't have the 415 they should per their warranty policy they wrote the 425 front end should be sent, or labor cost they should pay for
Between my ordeal I had with them and with friends I'm leaning away from a Ravin and towards Tenpoint

I hate to tell you this but that warranty does not say a single word that will obligate them to provide a new front end just because a limb has failed. They are obligated under warranty to provide new limbs though.

Correct and pay for labor, labor cost to the customer outside of the 5 yr warranty....it's a known fact the limbs on the 415 if they break are breaking in the same spot

Being Center Point are one of the crossbow brands that are imported from over seas,
if an importer runs out of parts, it can take up to a month to get replacement parts.
If an importer feels they can sell lots of crossbows, the more they are willing to import,
the cheaper they can get them for and the cheaper they can sell them. In this case it
does not pay to keep spare parts on hand.

As an example, I have dealt with Feredyne Outdoors. A set of 4 limbs for a 415 Rocky
Mountain crossbow can cost $117.00 where as I can purchase a complete riser with
limbs, bow string and cables from them for $120.00 The price I quote are in U.S. dollars.

Where warranty pays off, is if one does a lot of shooting. For those that do very little.
the company is laughing as it is more money for them because there is less chance of
failures.
In most cases to claim warranty, one has to pay to ship the product to the manufacturer.

Wishing you all the best.
Take care.

CP isn't the same as they where, time for my friend to bashed them on Facebook, companies hate that. I've been ready for a Ravin R29x for some time I'll be damn to give them C note of my money as they owned by same company

Please highlight the section of the warranty to show where it says they will pay labor fees.
If you take a bow to a shop for warranty work and did not buy the bow from them they will probably charge a labor fee. Most will do the work free if you bought the bow there though.

A reasonably person would believe if under warranty labor is paid for "CenterPoint determines the repair is not covered under the warranty guidelines, there could be a charge to you for the repair"
Now name one product that has warranty that customer must pay for labor on repairs?

I don’t own one of these, so not personally affected. Regardless of what the warranty states, it seems like there has been a change in the way things are handled, to the detriment of the customer, even if they are following the letter of the warranty. Excal has a few “escape clauses” in their stated warranty that allow them the option of providing lesser service, but it is rarely heard of. I know a member here who has had several KI bows with limb splinters, but he has always been sent a new front end, which can easily be swapped out by an owner without a press. It’s definitely something a buyer can take into consideration before buying a new crossbow from a company.

So my friend with the 415 cracked limb was told by Centerpoint Customer Service that they will not send out a front end and they don't have any 415 front ends in stock any how.

I emailed a person who is higher up and he sent my friend a 415 front end.

So this proves CENTERPOINT'S Customer service lied on they don't send out front ends and lied on not having 415 front ends in stock.

I'm done with them, I will hunt this season with my CPs after that they become back ups, I'm going to Tenpoint

Shame it’s gotten to this point. It would be good if that higher up could get the ”normal” CS reps on the stick, but maybe the company has instructed them to not be helpful. Doesn’t seem to be a good way to run a business though.

Went over to my friends house, and sure enough it's the 425 front end, I put the front end on the body and like my 425 it's a extremely tight fit....he gave me a towel and rubber malet I hit that thing hard like 7 or 8 times and it Finally got flushed. I had the same issue with my 425, I'm convinced they have milling issues
