How do you rime the cams?

 

There is about 1/2” of unserved cable to allow you to twist and shorten.

 

It's new and there is a lot of talk and interest in the Hybrid. I hope it works out for Excalibur.

 

The Hybrid x is an excellent tree stand bow!

Dang! Out of the loop all over again. Didn’t know Excalibur made whiskey.

 

I’m anxious to see, and hear the verdict from the general public. I will not say anything good, nor bad about the new concept bow. I like simple & easy with my equipment. I still shoot, and hunt with a Matrix 380-Boo quiver mount, string, trigger tech trigger. I have spare limbs, and have yet to have had a single problem in my back yard range, or while hunting. It’s going to take a lot to get me to give up my 380 due to my many trips hunting, and simplicity that has yet to let me down. I hope the new Hybrid-X does well as the shooting public will ultimately be the judge. I’m in the “wait & see” category especially with the price. All new flagship archery gear is expensive so we shall see how the Hybrid-X pans out this year.

 

I believe it can only be called Bourbon if it’s distilled in KY.

 

How do you know?

 

I don't drink Bourbon, but I do use it when cooking grilling and smoking. I can enjoy the Bourbon, and still shoot my Excalibur crossbow straight.

 

 

That's why ... that label says: Bourbon TYPE whiskey!

Went by two different bass pros this week to look. They didn’t even have the rev x much less the hybrid.

They had a couple of the newer ten points

I will likely never see one in person but the hybrid x looks like a great bow. Kudos to them for thinking outside the box

 

the hybrid sells here i germany for 1900euro- seems like a good price... i mean its expensive but they did not overstepped the limits like they did on nitro 505 when it was selling here last year for 4k and you guys could have them for 1600usd...

but thats tenpoint politics.. maybe excalibur does it different and the euro price reflects that

I got to shoot one at Lancaster Archery a few weeks ago, and I have to say I was impressed. Nice cocking system, and real nice trigger.
Maybe next year...waiting to read about how they hold up over hunting season, and also, IMO they need to come out with lighted nocks for them.

 

Agree on lighted nocks. Im shooting my own arrows and hope to replace aluminum v nocks with lights when available. I lost confidence with my Rev X after a limb blew. Didn’t want it hanging by my head during a 12 hour rut sit. Ive kept Hybrid cocked over night a couple times.

 

Don’t know if this belongs here, but it deals with the Hybrid X. I have one and love it but will not be hunting with it this year. Plan on waiting for lit nocks from someone, and still experimenting with broad heads. Will use Rev X this year backed up with my Mad Max 380. My question is, is there anyway of attaching a 3 arrow quiver to it? I don’t care for the Rebolt that comes with it.

 

Ummm! I suppose this model is for those who like to be different. I prefer the older wide limbed models, but not for speed. They will shoot until the cows come home n I don't own any.

I don't plan on touching one them. Just like I don't want to put me hands on few other crossbows that just seem to fail constantly.

Work to change the hunting laws.

 

I think even the hunters here (i know many from my shooting club where they come to practice with rifles) think of the crossbow as barbaric and unhuman way to kill the animal so there is no interest..
