My buddy just ordered one over the weekend got it today everything was legit

 

a Rhino tent blind and some straps another time.........no issues.

The Rhino blind was 139.00 and sold for 239.00 in the store. So I was wondering then too.

Wyverns sells the bows for manufacture prices, but throws in many extras to bring the cost down.
If you can get a better legit deal someplace, go for it. More times then not, it pays to shop around.

Could be that the Viper S400 is a discontinued model?

 

MAP probably only applies to current year model bows. You see bows on Ebay that sell for all kinds of prices and they are legit TenPoint retailers. I bought my new Nitro X for a crazy low price a year ago. I checked the seller out and he was a reputable dealer.

 

It was my understanding the MAP pricing applied to all Tenpoint products, parts accessories, arrows, etc. .If you purchased on Ebay, were you able to register for warranty?
It was also questionable if Tenpoint would include warranties with bows purchased on Ebay. Again, I could be wrong.

 

Some retailers get around MAP by offering extras to sweeten the deal if they cannot reduce the price.

 

As I previously posted, Wyverns has been doing that for years. It is highly possible that others retailers do the same.
Also, to repeat myself, When it comes to prices, especially higher priced items, It pays to shop around. Do your research. You would be surprised on price variations, even on low dollar items.

I would have bought one but I have a Stealth NXT which is about the same speed rating and design. The only thing I would gain is the better cocking/decocking feature.

 

The Tenpoint viper s400 arrived yesterday. Damn she is nice. Came with the Evo x marksman scope in camo. Most of these crossbows I have seen online were $1400-$1700 had the range master scope. The Evo x I e found on line for $500. Hell of a deal. $1099.99 plus tax. Beyond happy with the purchase. Will do business with them again.

 

when you buy from Wyvern's website there is No tax .........if you buy from him on Ebay ......ebay will charge you Tax.........
