I've read tenpoint makes good xbows.
I know from experience that my excalibur and mission xbows have been very reliable.
I've been waiting for mission to bring out something new.
You don't hear much at all about them having any problems.
I'm going to use my mission charge this year as primary and my x1 for back up.
Love the swat but the way they go through cables makes me wonder if it would come apart when up 20 feet off the ground.

It’s been what seven years and mission still has the same crossbow. Yeah it’s a solid crossbow but I don’t think their heart is in competitive crossbow designing.

I think they tend to concentrate on fewer models and more testing before they bring a new design to market.
I think they'll have something new to offer by next year.
I'd like to see reverse limb models that are faster and not front heavy like the sub-1 models with the same reliability.

Mission really has no desire or need to keep up with the jones, with the speed race and the latest and greatest, new and improved expensive crossbows.
Kind of like, If it isn't
broke don't fix it Attitude.
Their main business concentration is on the Matthews and Mission vertical bows.

There's a rumor that a new MIssion crossbow is in the works. Missions approach is very different than Mathews. Mission compound bows hadn't changed in 7 years, too. They have, however, finally released a new compound bow recently. Who knows maybe the new crossbow rumors are true? LOL!

The largest archery dealership closest to me has been a Mathews/Mission dealership. They have never carried any other brand of bow. They look at themselves as being like a Harley Davidson dealership. You don't go to a Harley dealership to buy a Honda.

Having said all that, they added Ten Point quite some time ago. Those long-time Mathews owners who become crossbows users will jump ship if something else is better. I'm pretty sure they had to add Ten Point to keep customers like those.

The ability to easily rope de-cock a Mission crossbow happened over 8 years ago. In my mind, it's the only feature that makes the 2025 LogiX more appealing than their other 2025 crossbow models -

Tempr-X RDC

Yep like I said crossbows are not their passion.
If you wanna good designed crossbow that’s like an old tractor that keeps chugging along that’s probably the one for you.

thats who i bought it from. when i ordered it direct from killer instinct they said they had them in stock then the next day said they did not have them and would refund my money then the next day i get a call from them saying there was a mistake and they do have it. but by then i had ordered from wyvern creations. then i bought the bow shield protection plan for 3 years at 100.00 more. the crossbow sat in a padded case to a few days ago when i went to sight it in. had a hard time finding a place to sight it in in my state it has to be on a range or privet property along with it being way to hot to be out in the open. any way it was on a rest. the bolt was pushed back as far as it could go and was in the track of the rail. my point is that it was new and covered by a protection plan that should have covered every thing but shipping and the company is not. i am not new to crossbows or archery and understand how they work and the dangers of not having the bolt right. but point again new bow with protection and them not covering their stuff. i worked in repairs for ten years for a rod company and had to replace stuff that clearly was the owners fault. i knew ki was not top of the line but took the chance and will never do it again
Did you buy the Warranty plan when you purchased the crossbow or did you buy the Warranty plan after trying to sight it in and the cables breaking? If you bought it after then KI will not honor it until after the date it was bought on.

When did they go from lifetime to 3 years warranty. Damn, not even a 5 year warranty! 🤯
It is a Lifetime warranty on Manufacture defects but it has to be checked by a dealer every 3 years to stay in effect. I sent mine in for warranty work after a year and had them do the check while it was there and they restarted my 3 years.

mailed the front in and was told partial dry fire and not covered by lifetime warranty but is covered by bow shield but strings not covered so cost me 115.00 to ship and pay for strings and cables. now wait and see how long to get it back. so much for anti dry fire mechanism. i sorry that i upset so many people but a new item of any thing that breaks after 5 uses is defective. and why say it has anti dry fire and wont shoot if bolt is not in right and then be told it dry fired. guess the dry fire mech doesn't work. i was wondering some one asked if it was light up nocks are they not good to use in crossbows? i am now wondering if i can trust it to hunt with after the way things have gone. the fact it claims anti dry fire was one of the reasons i bought it thinking it would be safe. not the was i want to go into a hunting season i love so much.

I'm using mine with total faith. Unfortunately it can and has happened to a lot of us. I wouldn't hesitate to use it if I were you. Just be a little more conscious of making sure the bolts is seated all the way. What bolts and nicks were you using?

i was using their bolts and nocks that came with the crossbow. i was going to to switch to zombi slayer bolts because they have more weight. and was going to use light up nocks for hunting. but some one asked when the crossbow blew if i was using light up knocks so now im wondering if they are safe to use. really sucks going into bow season and not being sure you trust your set up. really thinking i should have just dealt with all the pain and stayed with my prime compound bow. the thought of having to double check every thing before you can shoot is going to make hunting even harder. it blew up in a rest that was on a bench not being moved or walked with. thanks of the feed back. good luck this season

bought it before i shot it just in case. have heard they had problems in the past and that more things go wrong with crossbows so i wanted to cover whay ever i could

I had this happen on a Parker one time. It was a burr on the cam. Not saying that is the case this time but it could be.

The rumor that Mission is bringing out a new crossbow could be true but then it's been circulating for 3 years now lol Maybe they will. They make a great bow. Accurate and smooth!

The lighted nocks shouldn't matter. I use deepower nocks. I've shot the half moon and capture style out of my logix and 430x without issue

I've used Lumenok GTCs and Deepower half moon nocks out of mine and never had an issue with it. So don't be afraid to use light up nocks. Just make sure your nock it pushed all the way to the string and it touching it.

Apparently anti-dry fire and integrated crank are just words on their brochure so they can charge more for things that don’t work.
You didn’t upset me at all I already had my awakening with KI and if you’ve upset anybody then it obviously hasn’t happened to them yet.
If I bought a Twinkie and it didn’t have the filling in it I’d want my money back, not that I eat Twinkies but you get my point.
If their anti-dry fire technology does not work then they should cover everything that was damaged from its failure and maybe they’ll think about improving it, or leave it to a company that knows how to do anti-draft fire.
