the mag max came in today looks like the string is close to the reds the manual says 1/8 1/2..the left side looks ok the right is to close?? i got a stringer today.. should i put twist on the left side right side both side's .. never had a excalibur before.. the scope dont seam bad.. been shooting tenpoint turbo S1 the last 2 years . the camo looks good and dark.she a bitch to pull back thanks michael

Hey Michael
With your crossbow having a new string, it's going to stretch and so you may have to adjust your brace height a few different times until the string stretches all the way.

I like the looks of the flemish the best . . .just personal taste.

Enjoy your Mag Max- it's a great crossbow and you can do your back a favor and put on a Charger EXT or Charger Lite

my old ass cant pull it back.. i try once had almost all the way back .. and yes my back hurts.. what is the draw weight on it?? the mag 340 is 270 pounds order 12 dragon claw arrows for it.... hopefully this week i can shoot it.

Not the same riser, but I had a Micro Extreme riser and HO limbs on my draw board last summer. Draw weight at the power stroke of the 360 (9”) was in the upper 350s. I would guess the Mag 340 is well above the stated 270#. I understand about rope cocking a micro. I built a hybrid that now belongs to OEA. Draw weight about 345 at 9.5”. Really had to tell myself “You are doing this!” My right knee and low back said I was being stubborn and stupid. Shot one 15 target 3D shoot with it and was exhausted by the end.
