Good choice Dale. You'll be very happy with it. You're going to get many opinions on broadheads. My son uses Rage crossbow heads. I've used NAP Thunderheads, Spitfires and Double Cross. All get the job done. I really don't think there's one that is superior to another. Whatever you're comfortable with and shoots good for you.Well I just ordered from Wyverns on many of you people's recommendation on both accounts a new Turbo M1 with case. My hope was at least be in the middle with a good bow. So many makes out there, but seems Tenpoint has a good reputation.
This is my first entry in the crossbow world.
Now do I add a tripod and which one? Fixed blade or retractable? So many more decisions?
They kinda have a habit doing that...Looks like another winner from 10 Pt.![]()
I figured it out and they now have only one single slot for the cables instead of two showed in the booklet. At least for the Turbo. Yes the small instruction piece of paper explains the new saver. Just the saver shown was different in the main booklet.Should be a small set of instructions in the bag the cable saver came in.
Aside from my "monstrosity" (only kidding) Torrix, I have owned an original Horton Vision 175 (which I sold for good money) a Wicked Ridge (also sold for good money), a TP "Horton" Storm (also sold for good money), and now a TP Carbon Nitro. I have had ZERO problems with any of these bows. When you buy "quality", you should get your money's worth in reliability and resale value. GOOD Luck with your new bow!Gents, thanks for the kind greetings. I am quite excited about this decision. My goal is to take my Turbo M1 west because of the lightness and design of the Xbow.
I'll be crawling, walking, stooping while stalking speed goats and every once counts when you are to get a shot at 60 yards and out. I practice exclusively long range and my hunt begins August 31st in Colorado. I'm counting the days. One modification is I'll be adding my HHA Optimizer and will have to use my Sig Sauer Romeo5 2moa red dot sight. The journey begins.
