New to Tenpoint xbows and looking at the Turbo M1 with the Accu pro crank. I'm a bit concerned that I won't be able to de-cock it and will have to fire it in a target or some other way. Is this really an issue? Anyone found a clever way to do this?

Get a Morrell discharge target and keep it in your vehicle. When your don’t for the day, Toss the bag on the ground and shoot it into the target.

I've seen those... that is a good option. Are there also "disposable bolts" for the Tenpoint? I know they have them for other brands like Excaliber.
I simply grabbed a 5 gallon bucket with a lid on it and packed it with old clothes and cut a circle out of the top and installed cardboard as a target face. It works well as a discharge target, takes up little space and weighs very little. It stops my Scorpyd DS 420 arrows easily. Best thing is it was free as I had everything used just sitting around the house.

Somehow apparently the 'quote' thing is too complicated for me.

Tried to quote Tom on the Run "I should have my Turbo M1 next week. Lots of testing has been exhausted. Fact, you cannot reliably shoot repeatedly 380gr arrow on this Xbow. The bow string will jump. Or at least this Xbow without the SDS. I'll be shooting at a minimum 400 grain arrows with reliable and repeatable performance with out the TP-SDS. However, I'm having it installed. Shooting speed including 100gr tip will be 365-370fps. I'm down with that. The clock is ticking in anticipation but won't have time to shoot because I fly to Ukraine for three weeks. When I get back the fun begins before I head west to hunt. I'll be cutting it short but should be ready and dialed in to use.
