Well I just ordered from Wyverns on many of you people's recommendation on both accounts a new Turbo M1 with case. My hope was at least be in the middle with a good bow. So many makes out there, but seems Tenpoint has a good reputation.
This is my first entry in the crossbow world.
Now do I add a tripod and which one? Fixed blade or retractable? So many more decisions?
Good choice Dale. You'll be very happy with it. You're going to get many opinions on broadheads. My son uses Rage crossbow heads. I've used NAP Thunderheads, Spitfires and Double Cross. All get the job done. I really don't think there's one that is superior to another. Whatever you're comfortable with and shoots good for you.

2x firehunter, if you know other archery hunters is if you can try their bh in your bow just be aware that some mechanical meant for vertical bow will open in flight. I like the grim reapers because the are strong and they close up after pass through. Nothing or nobody is going to get hurt if they get stepped on if I couldn’t find them.

Looks like another winner from 10 Pt. ;):)

Well I ggot my new Turbo M1,now to assemble.I see the foot stirup is straight across vs on turbos. Also the cable saver is different the the instructions in really zero grooves for the sting. They talk about two different grooves.
The instruction book looks like it is a generic book for all Tenpoint crossbows. Not specific for the Turbo. Little confusing, especially on the cable saver. I think I know how it goes but sure hope I don't mess it up.

Should be a small set of instructions in the bag the cable saver came in.
I figured it out and they now have only one single slot for the cables instead of two showed in the booklet. At least for the Turbo. Yes the small instruction piece of paper explains the new saver. Just the saver shown was different in the main booklet.

Well, I officially am on the Turbo M1 train. Bought one on July 4th. Having trusted tech person inspect and custom build to sets of strings and cables.

Also, ordered the TP SDS system for the Xbow.

I am purchased custom 19" arrows matched to 125gr tips to shoot 415 gr setup. Will chronograph after inspection and tuning to share results.

Congrats on the new crossbows, guys the Turbo M1 looks like a shooter. As far as broadheads go, the sharp ones work the best! :D

Gents, thanks for the kind greetings. I am quite excited about this decision. My goal is to take my Turbo M1 west because of the lightness and design of the Xbow.

I'll be crawling, walking, stooping while stalking speed goats and every once counts when you are to get a shot at 60 yards and out. I practice exclusively long range and my hunt begins August 31st in Colorado. I'm counting the days. One modification is I'll be adding my HHA Optimizer and will have to use my Sig Sauer Romeo5 2moa red dot sight. The journey begins.

Aside from my "monstrosity" (only kidding) Torrix, I have owned an original Horton Vision 175 (which I sold for good money) a Wicked Ridge (also sold for good money), a TP "Horton" Storm (also sold for good money), and now a TP Carbon Nitro. I have had ZERO problems with any of these bows. When you buy "quality", you should get your money's worth in reliability and resale value. GOOD Luck with your new bow!

Does anyone own or has anyone shot the Turbo with the acusled 50?

If so how is the draw on it? Is it as tough to draw with the sled as the 200+ lb draw models? It’s at 190. I would like to try it for myself but it doesn’t appear that Bass pro and bass pro jr. (Cabelas) are going to even put that model in their inventory this year. Those are the only places near me that carry crossbows.

I prefer the sled over the crank for speed of cocking. However I have used the sled for the stealth nxt and the draw is so heavy it isn’t fun to cock with a sled.

I have the NEW Tenpoint accudraw pro on my new Turbo 1 and it loads plenty fast for me and I can be sitting down on the ground or anywhere and it cranks super easy. In a tree stand it will be awesome. Personally the only reason not to have it is you could not afford it.

You owe it to yourself to try the new crank also. I can crank with a couple of fingers and almost completely silent. If your getting older it is well worth it. Try both, make up your own mine and choice. That is why they have choices, everyone wants are a little different.

I'm glad TP provides options. Me I prefer hand cocking myself. I can see myself losing the crank handle in that one forgetful moment.

Anyone out there shooting TP's spec'd 370gr arrow setup 380fps?

I should have my Turbo M1 next week. Lots of testing has been exhausted. Fact, you cannot reliably shoot repeatedly 380gr arrow on this Xbow. The bow string will jump. Or at least this Xbow without the SDS. I'll be shooting at a minimum 400 grain arrows with reliable and repeatable performance with out the TP-SDS. However, I'm having it installed. Shooting speed including 100gr tip will be 365-370fps. I'm down with that. The clock is ticking in anticipation but won't have time to shoot because I fly to Ukraine for three weeks. When I get back the fun begins before I head west to hunt. I'll be cutting it short but should be ready and dialed in to use.
