I'm at peace, doesnt hurt me at all to not follow football. Fact is i would not be on this forum if i wasnt scorpyds warranty center.

God tells us to be in the world but not of the world. So when the world does ridiculous things I simply go next and move on. Also when he told us to forgive he never said forget.

He left being upset about the forum not allowing him to block ads, but it was brought up that it may be a browser issue. It's up to him to explore that.

Yeah just to see. I downloaded Adblocker took me all of a min and its free. Other than a little drop down window that tells me how many ads were blocked that you gotta be pretty quick to see it. No ads so far over a few different sights like this one.

A pretty simple fix imo if its a bother to you.

Yes.
With other websites, and with other browsers than I usually prefer.

And exclusively on a Windows PC (owned by my employer).
Which is one of the reasons why I stopped using M$ Windows for private use more than a decade ago.
But this is a personal choice.

Yep and if I really want to see the site I will turn off my ad blocker and go into the site but before I leave it I will turn it back on again. Several sites deny access when using an ad blocker and usually I just ignore those sites.

I don't think it's only about the ads. Whether a person is aware of it or not, there is a whole lot of negative affects from social media and this is social media. People should take holidays from social media from time to time. Heck, a person just may figure out that they are better off without it completely. I do take holidays from forums from time to time.

Agree with you Don definitely think you need lots of breaks from social media. I said years ago social media was going to be the death of society and its doing that, kids today cannot even communicate with each other or have oral conversations with people today unless they have a phone or they are on some type of social media platform. I was fortunate I was able to keep my kids limited to what they could do when it came to social media. But there are upsides to it also you meet some great people that you’d never would have met and you can get most of your questions or problems solved from some of the platforms out there.

Most of the popups I get wanting me to cut off my ad blocker are news sites that get links posted in the forums. I just leave on 90% of them but do cut it off if I really want to read the article.

Well, he's been told by multiple people what the easy 2 minute solution is to stop the ads at no cost. Assuming at this point he just wants to make a show of it. To what end is hard to tell...as is often the case with such displays.

I mentioned before that I use AdBlock, no issues. But for me, it’s secondary. One of the best things I ever did was use a Raspberry Pi to set up a Pie-Hole. Stops virtually ALL ads on my home network.

I highly recommend it. 😉

Say ... I'm in Disney World "Animal Kingdon Villas" with the grandchildren, daughter & husband. Came back to the hotel to kill time before I head back to meet them for dinner. I walk for about 6 hours, then leave the 4 of them on their own. I remember when the love of my life and I took all our kids to Disney back in the 1990s and we literally ran from ride to ride from early opening until they closed the place, every day for a week! Now I'm good for 6 hours? Whadda woosss. 😂 No AdBlocker blockage. I haven't tried CBN since the original post. Either it was a glitch or maybe the blocking police don't recognize the Disney IP address?

Anyway, here's the doe I killed shooting lefty on opening day 9-13-25. Two does and two fawns came from behind me on my weak side about 15 yards out. The one was pretty smart. Once she got to my stink trail where I walked in she got squirrelly and turned back around and started walking off. I had slowly worked the bow around but when she reversed it was lefty or left-out. Whacked her and the other doe vaporized I heard her crash, looked down and a fawn was still ten yards away. I crank her up, load an arrow, now stood up to shoot righty, checked the tree/limb clearance, looked clear, squeeze off the shot for a sure double... and the right limb JUST grazes the tree! (I found the arrow about 10 yards passed and 5 yards left. The fawn STILL stands there with a WTH look. I crank'er up again... screwed up and didn't grab the string right, let it down, rehooked, cranked up and latched, put an arrow in ... and the fawn was gone. A true case of chaos & mayhem I'm always admonishing people over. 😂 By the way, both SWAT-Ti broadheads from the two arrows looked perfect. So perfect that just cleaning them of the dirt & guts was all it took. I threw a little 800grit stone on the blades, a little squirt of Ballistol and new SWAT bands and they went right back in the quiver.

Glad to see you post again. Nice doe. I hope you are enjoying your trip and time spent with your family. I hate to tell you this but most of us guys that already had family in the 90s are a lot older now and really can't be expected to do all the things we used to do. Just ask Moon about it.
